Clinic Update, Renovation, Our Journey

We are thrilled to welcome you to a front seat for this exciting new adventure! This business has been a labor of love for the two of us, and it is truly an honor to provide health care to the women of Central Illinois. Sarah and I have been working together for nearly ten years. Owning our own medical practice has been a dream for many years, and as we approached this opportunity, we decided we would take one step at a time. In the spring of 2023, we found a nurse practitioner business course and cautiously enrolled. After completing the course, we started meeting regularly to brainstorm ideas about making our dream a reality. Piece by piece the details came together, and we obtained our full practice authority (FPA) license status in the summer of 2023.  

After obtaining our licenses, we had a consultation with an attorney group which specializes in starting medical practices, including NP only practices. We also found a commercial realtor (shout out to Madison Maloof!) who helped us to find the perfect office space. We were referred to a malpractice broker, an accountant, and a GPO medical supplier who could help us to order everything our business would need! 

The remodeling process for the office space included building sinks into our examination rooms and updating the paint and front waiting room. We are incredibly lucky and thankful to have the Tucker family help with these tasks, as it would not have been possible to accomplish without them! Our families have been patient and supportive of the time we have taken to ensure this business is created thoughtfully with our patients in mind. 

Sarah and I have worked tirelessly to build this website, the comfortable and quaint physical space for our patients, and finalize all of the practical business matters while still working at our private practice jobs. We hope you will trust us with your women’s health needs, and more importantly, refer your friends and loved ones to our practice!
